For a while now, I have been wanting to do a complete revamp of my online presence, and that began with my website. I had never been happy with my previous one, and thought as I entered into my 4th year in real estate, what better time to make a change?
My goal is to be an industry leader in advertising, promotion, and social media; and to be continually coming up with new and innovative ideas for real estate. Ideas to both promote myself and my listings... and so begins the rebuild.
So for the last few weeks, I have been researching and browsing a lot of real estate agent websites and different website providers. I wanted to see what they all had that I didn't currently have and what would make my site more user friendly - and what you are looking at is what I've come up with.
While it is still a work in progress - I am wanting to really get it customized to the Cold Lake area - this website encompasses everything I think was missing with my previous one. The ability to search my listings and ALL listings on the MLS is so much simpler. The look is so much cleaner. I'm able to encorporate my custom videos. I am able to add specific pages for each major neighbourhood in Cold Lake. And your ability to get all the information you need at your finger tips is so much better!
On top of my website, I have been increasing my presence on social media. On top of my successful facebook page and twitter account, I have added a Google+ account, an instagram account and have even started a YouTube channel where all my videos will be stored - including the facebook lives I do regularly. And even better - you can access all these platforms from this very website.
Since this is a working project for me, if there is a feature to the site that you think is missing, or something that could be done to make it more user friendly, please let me know! This website is to help people such as yourself who visit it navigate it with ease and make your search for either a property or a REALTOR® that much simpler!
